An Adventure in Caribbean Cuisine presents traditional and original recipes from the widespread and diverse kitchens of the Caribbean’s Association of Home Economists. On show is the variety of ways in which the preparation and combination of the basic ingredients of traditionalCaribbean “Creole” cuisine have developed throughout the territories.
This historical review of the contributions of a professional organisation across three decades is noteworthy since it will serve to emphasize strongly the value of Home Economics in nation building through its contributions to various sectors, inter alia, in Education, Health, Family life and community well-being.
