Hosted by the Caribbean Association of Home Economists Inc.
Theme: “Creativity and Innovation in Home Economics for sustainable Development”
The application of these two elements to Home Economics will determine the extent to which effective and sustainable policies and practices within the discipline impact positively in future proofing the profession, families and ultimately the wider arena in which Home Economics serves.
This theme is intended to span all sectors of the profession and allied fields in a strategic attempt to explore a wide range of findings which can be employed in facilitating the empowerment of individuals, families and communities towards an improved lifestyle in general.
In addition, the theme seeks to unearth ingenious and practical solutions, through research or writings on pedagogical practice, design and development of products, wealth generation, innovative consumer practices and strategies for improved health, wellness and global peace. Practitioners in Home Economics education and research, nutrition, health and wellness, finance, manufacturing, digital technologies, governance and the cultural Industries are invited to submit abstracts for consideration.
